Built 1842 on a prominent (but inconvenient) site some 2 km west of the village and extended 1875; the spire is 27.5 m high and as seen here is receiving some attention from a steeplejack. B-listed (LB3060): http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB3060 . Architect William Hay (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hay_(architect) ), who spent much of his career in Canada.
