Carrow House in 20 King Street

This Grade 2 listed, late 19th century house and the adjacent conservatory used to be the home of the Colman family of mustard fame. The west facade has two storeys with an adjoining 4-bay facade, which is a later addition and has an off-centre doorway with a Doric surround. The large conservatory > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5776799 immediately adjacent to the south of the house was built by Boulton and Paul in 1895 and is of timber and cast-iron construction. After having stood derelict for some years the house accommodated council offices and since early 2018 the Coroner's Court occupies it.
