The tall building at left is a former office block and KFC premises but has recently been converted into studio, one and two-bedroom apartments by Regency Residential and Intro Developments. Before the redevelopment, the building had stood empty for some time, but has in the past been used as British Rail offices, and in the more distant past used to be a dance hall known as the Grosvenor Rooms. The Beatles performed here in May 1963.
