Previously known as The Golden Ball, it's not clear where the present name comes from. The building is Grade II listed but the listing text makes no mention of any mill. Maybe the present building, which is early 19th century, is on the site of a demolished mill or perhaps there was one nearby. For other photographs see:- Image
