A former Morland of Abingdon public house which closed sometime between 1988 and 1994, when permission was granted for its use as a private residence and which is now known as The Old George. Kelly's Directory of 1939 gives the publican as Mrs Kathleen Inch. In 1988 it was the late Alan Clarke, who was probably the last one. He later took over the Horse Shoe in Bridge Street. Image
