Grade II listed. The church originally dates from the 14th century, and was rebuilt in 1749 with alterations in 1889 by Fowler of Sheffield. The medieval masonry has been incorporated, but no details survive. The church is built from coursed ironstone with redbrick and ashlar dressings. There is a nave with a western bellcote, chancel and vestry. The bellcote is timber boarded with a lead roof surmounted by a cross. The South side of the church has three semicircular headed Windows, one to the chancel. There is a 19th-century vestry. Over the West door is a tablet inscribed “Queen Anne’s bounty fell to this church in MDCCXLIX”.
