Old orchards, Hazelbank Braes

Some efforts are being made to restore some of the old orchards in the Clyde Valley, which was once a significant fruit-growing area, with its heyday between approximately 1900 and 1970. There are some apple trees showing white blossom here, and also some new saplings which have been planted.
