A path (signed as a public footpath, though not mapped as such) climbs steps from the lane to a stile, heading towards Fruit Farm Copse where it joins the John Musgrave Heritage Trail. The runnel by the lane (see Image]) is starting to overtop its channel, fed by all the thawing snow.
