Kelso Town Hall

Town hall in The Square, built in 1816, replacing a previous toll booth on the site which had been demolished around 1798. It was funded by public subscription, with a signification contribution coming from the Duke of Roxburghe. It was remodelled in 1904-6. The building is designated Category B - see http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB35828.
