This terrace of early 19t century 3-storeyed red brick houses is Grade 2 listed. Bracondale (the road) is the main route into Norwich from the south and gently slopes towards the east and the valley of the River Wensum. Bracondale (the area) by the 18th century had become a desirable residential location with the building of villas for wealthy Norwich families continuing into the 19th century. It was designated a conservation area on 3 February 1970 but in October 1992 the boundary was extended to include part of Carrow Works and Bracondale Court. The conservation area lies to the south-east of the city centre and currently covers an area of 23.3 ha (57.5 acres).
