Colour was intense on a bright and bracing morning. All Saints' Church is Grade I listed and much of the fabric dates from the 13th and 14th centuries. A 16th-century rector was Matthew Parker, Master of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and later Archbishop of Canterbury during the reign of Elizabeth I.
