Set back from the east side of St Mary Street. In April 2018 the nameboard https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5756201 near the camera shows Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate - St Mary's and St Abu Saifain Coptic Orthodox Church. The Cadw website records that this is a former Wesleyan Methodist church dedicated to St John, founded in 1837, rebuilt on the same site in 1852. Later known as Trinity Methodist Church. Consecrated in 1992 for the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate with a new dedication. Grade II listed in 1999.
