I don't normally put these up now unless someone else already has, but was encouraged to elsewhere so gave in. There is one just along the road like it but fully painted and pointing left which I knew about, and spotted this afterwards hiding in the bushes. Once the lichen was removed it would look good with a coat of paint, but in a way it's now become part of the sign. It seems to be the first sighting of it on the internet although someone has a photo of it that hasn't been put up yet.
