Cadbury Hill

A view across the central ramparts of the old hill fort. The site is roughly a pair of rounded enclosures that meet along a central rampart, running north-south. It is thought that the western enclosure may have been the original fortification, with the eastern being added later. Dating mainly from the Iron Age, it has yielded some Neolithic and Bronze Age remains, although the fort itself was constructed in pre-Roman Iron Age times.
