Comiston and Braid Roads

Comiston Road, to the left, is the main road. Braid Road, to the right, is the original road from Edinburgh heading south. It was apparently too steep in places for the new-fangled trams, and a more gently sloping bypass - Comiston Road - was built. This view is looking north towards Edinburgh centre.
