A glimpse of the River Sherbourne

The River Sherbourne is Coventry's river but this is the only place in the city where it can be seen, flowing between buildings to the rear of The Burges. The river is just eight miles long, its source is near Allesley to the north-west of the city, after flowing under Coventry it flows into the River Sowe which in turn is a tributary of the River Avon near Stoneleigh.
