This is Bridge No 51A across the Oxford Canal east of Newbold. The bridge used to carry a branch railway line northwards between Rugby and Ullesthorpe, Leicester and Nottingham from 1839 until 1968. The dismantled track here now serves as a bridleway which crosses the bridge.
