The Crown Inn at the bottom end of Lower Frog Street is part of the Brains estate and claims to be 'the real ale pub' - but there is competition in the town. Just beyond that the mint green former chapel is now the 'Ocean Commotion play zone and Driftwoods coffee shop' - somewhere to take the kids on a wet day no doubt.
