The former secondhand bookshop at 195 Upper Dock Street, on the corner of Market Street, derelict for several years, has been converted to an office for Newport City Homes housing association. Located opposite Market Square bus station, a short walk from Friars Walk bus station, this centrally located office has replaced the Newport City Homes office in Nexus House as the place for tenants to receive face-to-face advice and support. The new office was officially opened by Olympic medallist Jamie Baulch on March 28th 2018.
