Wetherspoon pub located opposite Pontypridd railway station. For much of the 19th century, this area of Pontypridd was known as The Tumble. The usual explanation of the name is that horse-drawn carts often overturned hereabouts. Such a scene is depicted on the name sign. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5733932
