There are two fords, across Force Beck (seen here) and Ashes Beck, just upstream of the confluence where they form Rusland Pool. A seasonal Traffic Regulation Order prohibits motor vehicles and horse-drawn carriages using the Green Road fords here between 1 October and 31 May. This is to protect fish (including salmonids) and crayfish.
