A highly unusual postbox of a nonstandard design, this box is hooked to the railings of one of the well-to-do house frontages on the south side of Redcliffe Square. The words ROYAL MAIL are written a little crudely in plain black typeface rather than the familiar double-line yellow font which might be expected. But the collection plate is recognisably genuine.
