The photo was taken on April 7th, in the very tardy spring of 2018. The 'soundtrack' here would include no bird-song, but plenty of cheerful noise from free-range poultry. I find it puzzling that farm names which seem to refer to wolves are fairly common in the Weald - often taking the form 'Wolvens'.
