Built around 1800, possibly as a purpose-built shop (unlike many other buildings in the area, which originally served as houses) this was Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254621-76-mardol-shrewsbury#.WsXD6fnwaM8 in 1972.
