At the turn of the century, 3 Hamnett Street, on the left, was Fowden's Undertakers. http://oldhyde.blogspot.co.uk/2011/04/j-t-fowden-undertakers-on-hamnet-street.html From 2013 Image it was the home of a hydroponics business, but that closed down in 2016 Image Now it is being opened by the local micro brewery as the Tweed Tap https://www.facebook.com/Tweed-Tap-1743868592582337/ The adjoining premises at #5 are now occupied by Janet Dale's Beauty Salon http://www.janetdalebeauty.co.uk/ an established business that previously occupied #3.
