Opened as a single platform 'Filton Halt' in 1910 by the Great Western Railway on the line from Filton Junction to Avonmouth Docks, this station closed in 1915. It was rebuilt as two platforms and reopened as 'North Filton Platform' in 1926, closing to passengers in 1964 and completely in 1986. View west towards Charlton Halt and Avonmouth. Both platforms were still extant when this image was taken. For more details, see http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/n/north_filton/.
