Level crossing over the Guildford to Redhill railway at Chilworth. East Shalford Lane (north of the crossing) becomes Hornhatch Lane (south of the crossing), but the crossing itself has been closed to ordinary vehicular traffic. However, a bridleway has been reserved over the crossing, using the hand-gates on the right side, creating one of Surrey's shortest bridleways, 10m long, 582 Shalford.
