Farmland south of Kilkeel. I was hunting for a Triangulation Pillar (Lazy Hill, FB - OSNIBM 3007) but it looks to have been destroyed fairly recently sadly. Back in the early 1970s this was a sandpit and the pillar was on the edge of the field boundaries in the centre of the picture; this looked to have been abandoned and until recently the far field was still wild and overgrown with gorse bushes but there has clearly been some recent work and the field has been levelled and replanted - the pillar was probably removed then. There is a slim chance that it is still in situ on the higher ground to the upper left but I'll venture there another day.
