Previously known as Lincluden Priory or Lincluden Abbey, Lincluden Collegiate Church was founded around 1160. Extensive building works in the 15th century made Lincluden a much grander establishment. The church was abandoned by 1700. Despite now only consisting of fragmentary ruins, the remains are a Category A listed building. https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/200362554-abbey-lane-lincluden-collegiate-church-dumfries#.WrLcjzFLGtU.
