The Homestead was opened in 2008, and is a purpose-built care home designed to support individuals with nursing and dementia care needs. The accommodation is provided over three floors, with 68 bedrooms all having en-suite bathrooms. It is run by MHA, which was set up by a group of Methodists in 1943.
