West Drayton Cemetery was established in 1939 by the Burial Board. Although most of the graves are fairly standard there are a few very elaborate ones. The war memorial for the Urban District of Yiewsley and West Drayton seen here is outside the main gate on Harmondsworth Road. It includes the famous words by Laurence Binyon "They shall not grow old ..." The memorial can be seen in its context at http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5709847
