A very sad grave inscription: 'In memory of four children, the son and daughters of William and Esther Pinder, of Holbeck.' Aged between just 7 months and 5 years, they all died within 8 days in October and November 1844. Given the date I would think the cause of death was cholera which was prevalent at the time. Terribly sad.
