The previously derelict 350 acre site was transformed in the late 1980s into a commercial science park. It includes a number of lakes and a golf course. The London LOOP which largely follows the towpath of the Grand Union Canal in Hillingdon has been diverted to pass through Stockley Park before rejoining the towpath. See http://hidden-london.com/gazetteer/stockley-park/ and https://www.stockleypark.co.uk/ for more information.
