Hillingdon Court was originally built in 1858 as the family home of the Mills family. In 1919, the second Baron Hillingdon, also Charles Mills, died and the estate was put up for sale. Part of the estate was purchased by Uxbridge Urban District on 31st March 1928 and became Hillingdon Court Park. Since 1978 the mansion has formed part of the ACS International Schools. This view looks towards the playground from near Court Drive. A full history can be seen at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillingdon_Court
