The date given on this stone is (I think) January 30th 1728/9 - though the figures 8 and 9 are inscribed half-size with a horizontal stroke between them, in old-fashioned 'vulgar fraction' style. I'm not absolutely certain about the '2', but my reading is based on a comparison with the style of lettering on neighbouring stones.
