The "Nelson Bridge Inn" (also known as the "Nelson Bridge Hotel") dated from circa 1856 and was acquired by the State Management Scheme on 30 September 1916. It is believed to have closed in 1971 and was probably demolished circa 2005 when Nelson Bridge was widened. Photographs indicate the pub occupied much of the bottom right in this view, with the enlarged Nelson Bridge on the left.
