What they are building here is an underground power line from the offshore wind farms being built in the Moray Firth to the next electricity transformer at Blackhillock near Keith. The road in the foreground is the A96 trunk road, believe it or not. It is going to be very interesting to see what they do when they have to join up the underground line beneath the main road between Aberdeen and Inverness; there's no sensible diversion route available. The white building is Aultmore Distillery.
