At the junction with Baynard Avenue, Southwood Villa, early 19th century, brick with hipped slate roof, No.86 South Street, now known as Southwood House. It was once home to the internationally renowned dress designer Madame Clapham, whose dressmaking salon opened in Kingston upon Hull in 1887.
