This part of the Ashridge Estate sandwiched between the grounds of Ashridge College and the village of Little Gaddesden is known as the Golden Valley. In snowy conditions such as this, it is a popular place for people to come to use their sledges and toboggans - and a popular place to walk and enjoy the scenery at any time.
