Looking southwards along the road, which flanks the western side of this part of the Malvern Hills for two miles. The road was constructed and named to commemorate the 50th year of Queen Victoria's reign in 1887. With its magnificent views, it became an instant hit as a carriage drive for visitors taking the water cure.
