The River Lune and Carlisle Bridge (West Coast Main Line) are obvious features. Further upstream are the road bridges - Greyhound Bridge & Skerton Bridge. The gas holders (right foreground) have since been demolished. This area is currently being redeveloped. Lancaster Castle and Priory are beyond. The Ashton Memorial is clearly visible (centre-right, mid distance).
