Sharing my distaste for a downpour, these Holstein Friesians are seeking shelter under a wholly inadequate ash tree in the corner of their field. They are beside the cycleway (NCN route 3) which runs along the line of the disused railway to Image The little valley in the background drains away from the nearby Torridge towards the Little Mere River.
