Branksome: ducks on a half frozen Coy Pond

The southern bulk of Coy Pond is frozen over, and we look across the pond roughly where the ice meets the water. Ducks and a few gulls flit between wandering and swimming. See Image for a view of the pond from the southern end. This is the first significant snowfall in the Bournemouth area since a light dusting in February 2015, and the heaviest since December 2010.
