Launceston - The South Gate

The South Gate in Launceston dates originally from the C14th. It is EH Grade I listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1298820 Vehicles can still pass through this ancient gate, albeit only from north to south these days. The pedestrian gate to the left was added in 1887.
