The plaque in George Lane United Reformed Church reads: IN AFFECTIONATE MEMORY OF JAMES FALLOWS, FOR MANY YEARS THE BELOVED SUNDAY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT AND SENIOR DEACON OF THIS CHURCH. WHO DIED, JANUARY 16TH 1919. AGED, 80 YEARS. ALSO OF BEATRICE FALLOWS, HIS DAUGHTER, A GENEROUS BENEFACTRESS TO THIS CHURCH, WHO DIED, SEPTEMBER 22ND 1928.
