The Dick Vet, properly called the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, moved from its original premises in Summerhall in the city of Edinburgh to this new building in 2011. The name commemorates its founder, William Dick (1793-1866). See https://www.ed.ac.uk/vet.
