A blue plaque on the wall of the first house on the right reports "Frank Harrison (1859-1912), Dental Surgeon, practised here and published the first paper in the world on the use of X-rays in dentistry. He was instrumental in the founding of the School of Dental Surgery and the School Dental Clinic in Sheffield." Beyond the bus lies West Street, the nearest commercial area to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the University of Sheffield, both of which are 2-3 minutes walk away behind the photographer.
