Stubbs Street is nowadays little more than a handy service road providing access to the rear of premises facing the High Street. From left to right we see the unlovely back views of: Brassingtons, a bar which is now closed; Amorcare (mobility equipment supplier); James Stone and Sons, Fish Merchants. The dual carriageway in the foreground is Barracks Road.
