Monument Buildings, originally built as offices for the North Eastern Railway, 1902-08, in the Jacobean Revival style, now shops. Adjacent to the former Prince's Dock, and next door to the Ferens Art Gallery. For an as yet unknown period, the premises housed the External Planning Department of the City Council's Telephone Undertaking. Grade II Listed Building https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1297028 At right, the Maritime Museum, former offices of the Hull Dock Company. Outside is a K6 telephone kiosk in the cream livery of the former Hull Corporation Telephone Department.
