I don't know if this can be classified as a tidal bore wave. This is the moment where the tide suddenly reached this section of the estuary this evening when the tidal surge was close to its maximum this autumn. The water in the foreground is at normal low tide level but the water coming round the corner is noticeably higher and could be visibly seen very slowly moving up the river. It was nowhere near as dramatic as the Severn bore (nor as obvious) which makes me wonder if this can be classified as a bore or a sudden influx of water...
